As you get older, your rifle gets heavier. That is where the shooting stabilizer comes in. There are a number of options. Most are bi pod shooting stabilizers that fasten to the front sling clip or to a picatinny rail system. They are retractable ranging in height from 6 inches for bench or prone shooting to 62 inches if you prefer kneeling or standing when shooting. The legs are spring loaded for quick retraction when you want to move to a new shooting location. A lower cost option for tall stabilizers is the mono pod. It is adjustable with heights from 25 inches to 62 inches.
